A very cold January and a rainy February were followed by a dry and mild spring at least until May, when the climate changed bringing intense rain and significant drops in temperature. The abundant rains in May made it possible to rebalance a season that was now too dry. There was a change of trend in the month of June with temperatures reaching 40 degrees and zero rainfall. July was also very hot with the substantial difference that it was accompanied by excellent temperature variations.

In the last week of July the rain generated a more pleasant climate and August was a photocopy of July also with regards to the last week, where heavy rains arrived. With the month of September came mild days without temperature rises.

The ripening of the grapes was very balanced thanks to the excellent night-time temperature variations in the summer period which, together with the summer rains, gave a nice freshness to the wines.
