After a few years from the birth of Pomontino we decided to make a selection of the best Sangiovese grapes and let the wine rest for 36 months in large oak barrels.
Thus was born the Maestà Quattro Chiavi, a highly refined wine composed of 85% Sangiovese and 15% Sagrantino
We work with whole grapes with a small part of whole grape. After months of natural decantation in steel, the wine is taken to large Slavonian oak barrels where it rests for 36 months. Minimum 10 months in the bottle.
