Vintage characterized by a very rainy winter. Spring stood out for the climate, which was always mild, and for the frequent rains, ideal phenomena for guaranteeing the water reserves of the land in view of the summer season. The months of July and August are remembered for temperatures that are not excessively hot and for sporadic thunderstorms, even very intense. The excellent month of September, hot and windy, guaranteed an almost perfect continuation of the ripening of the grapes thus leading to a harvest to be considered as of the highest quality.

Montefalco Sagrantino 2015 DOCG

Number of bottles produced: 13,000

Intense ruby. The nose reveals fascinating hints of cherries, blackberries, currants, blueberries, hints embellished with light floral notes and oriental spices. A slight balsamic hint anticipates a taste of particular strength and balance, fresh and tasty, characterized by a particularly elegant tannic texture that fades into pleasantly fruity notes. Of exceptional persistence.
